Per the calendar, Session 1 will run on six dates — 22, 23, 24, 28, 29 and 30 January 2027 — with individual candidates sitting one shift on one of those dates, not across the entire span. NTA has kept 31 January 2027 in reserve as a buffer date. The calendar also confirms tentative windows for other major NTA exams in the same period, including UGC NET December 2026 (14–19 Dec, with 20–21 Dec as buffer), the Joint CSIR UGC NET (20–21 Dec 2026), CMAT 2027 (7 Feb) and CUET PG 2027 (multiple blocks in March).
