Symbiosis International (Deemed University) has opened registration for SNAP 2026 - the mandatory entrance test for 29 MBA and PGDM programmes across 17 Symbiosis institutes - on the official portal, snaptest.org, with the window live from 21 August 2026.
What's actually confirmed
Per the official "Important Dates" page on snaptest.org, SNAP 2026 registration and payment closes on 25 November 2026. The test will be conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT) of 60 minutes' duration, held across three separate sessions so that a candidate's best score counts: SNAP 01 on 13 December 2026 (Sunday), SNAP 02 on 19 December 2026 (Saturday), and SNAP 03 on 26 December 2026 (Saturday). Admit cards for each session go live shortly before the respective test date - 7, 11 and 18 December respectively - and the consolidated result is scheduled for 12 January 2027. The test fee is Rs 2,550 per attempt, plus a separate Rs 1,000 registration fee for each MBA programme a candidate applies to; government taxes apply extra and both fees are non-refundable.
What this means for MBA aspirants
SNAP is the entrance gateway for Symbiosis's 17 constituent institutes spread across six cities - Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Nashik and Noida - covering flagship programmes such as SIBM Pune, SCMHRD, SIIB and SIBM Bengaluru. Because the test runs in three separate windows and only the best of the three attempted scores counts, candidates who register early get the practical benefit of treating SNAP 01 in December as a lower-stakes first attempt while still holding two further chances before the cycle closes. Eligibility remains a graduation degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates); some specialised programmes, including Business Analytics and dual-degree options, carry additional criteria worth checking on each institute's own page before applying. Paying the SNAP test fee alone does not secure a seat in any programme - candidates must separately register and pay for every individual MBA programme they wish to be considered for.
