Momentum was founded in Gorakhpur in 2004 by IITians Er. Vikas Agrawal and Er. Arvind Tripathi, and is best known locally for its IIT-JEE and NEET batches; it also runs a separate UPSC and IAS coaching vertical from the same Betiahata Chowk centre. The institute carries a 4.0-star Google rating from more than 750 reviews, among the highest review volumes of any coaching brand in the city, though that reflects its broader test-prep business rather than UPSC coaching alone.
