CLAT 2027 registration closes on 31 October 2026 and AILET 2027 registration closes on 10 November 2026, and neither the Consortium of NLUs nor NLU Delhi has posted a new notice since our last check, based on a direct look at both official portals on 14 October 2026.

Quick facts

CLAT 2027: applications opened 3 August 2026, last date 31 October 2026, exam on 6 December 2026 (53 days away)

AILET 2027: applications opened 7 August 2026, last date 10 November 2026, admit card 30 November, exam on 13 December 2026

SLAT 2027: test dates 19 and 26 December 2026; free toppers' webinar on 16 October, 5:00โ€“6:00 pm

New notices today: none on the CLAT or AILET portals

Checked against: consortiumofnlus.ac.in/clat-2027, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in and slat-test.org, on 14 October 2026

CLAT 2027: seventeen days left to apply

The Consortium of NLUs' CLAT 2027 page still lists five notifications: the press release, the removal of Vellore and Tiruvarur as test centre cities, the reservation-category changes at NLU Meghalaya and WBNUJS Kolkata, and the Persons with Disabilities policy. Nothing newer has been added. The three dates on the page are unchanged: applications opened on 3 August, the last date for receiving applications is 31 October, and the exam is on 6 December 2026. If you chose Vellore or Tiruvarur as your test centre, log in and change your preference before 31 October.

AILET 2027: separate form, separate deadline

NLU Delhi runs AILET on its own portal, so a CLAT application does not cover it. The portal's notification list still shows only the 23 July notification and the 7 August admission notice. Its date panel reads: applications from 7 August, last date 10 November, admit card on 30 November, exam on 13 December 2026. That leaves 27 days to apply.

SLAT 2027: webinar on Friday

Symbiosis' official SLAT site is advertising a webinar on 16 October 2026, 5:00 to 6:00 pm on Zoom, with SLAT toppers sharing strategy. The site says access is only for students who have started their SLAT 2027 application. SLAT 2027 is a one-hour computer-based test with 60 objective questions in five sections and no negative marking, held in 62 cities. The fee is Rs 2,550 per test plus Rs 1,000 per programme applied for, plus taxes. The two test dates are Saturday, 19 December and Saturday, 26 December 2026, and the better of two attempts counts for AY 2027-28.

What this means for students

Nothing changes your plan today. With CLAT forms due in 17 days and AILET forms in 27, the sensible order is to finish both applications well before the last week, when portals tend to slow down. Keep your category certificate and photograph ready, and recheck your test city. Use the time left for full-length mocks rather than new books.
