Web Development Course Fees in India: What You Really Pay

Web development course fees in India run from ₹1,499 for a 60-hour online course to ₹95,000 plus tax for an 11-month programme (October 2026). Check what tax and extras sit on top.

Key takeaways

  • Web development course fees in India, as published by four providers in October 2026, run from ₹1,499 for a 60-hour online course to ₹95,000 plus GST for an 11-month programme. No single typical fee exists.
  • A quoted fee may exclude GST, and certificates or exams may cost extra. Add them before comparing providers.
  • Compare by cost per teaching hour or per month, not sticker price. Per month, a ₹95,000 programme over 11 months is close to a 6-month course at ₹48,500 to ₹58,500.
  • A higher fee does not buy a job. Get GST, hours, refund and placement terms in writing before you pay.

A "web development course" can mean a 60-hour online course on SWAYAM Plus, the Ministry of Education's online learning platform, which costs ₹1,499 as of October 2026, certificate included. It can also mean an 11-month institute programme. The label does not tell you which one you are buying.

The banner price is also rarely the whole bill. GST (goods and services tax) may be added on top, a certificate may be sold separately, and an EMI (equated monthly instalment) plan can carry conditions that appear only in the terms.

That makes a fee search a poor guide on its own. What decides value is what sits inside the fee: hours of teaching, tax, and what you can recover if you leave in week two.

Below are the fees four providers publish on their own pages, the arithmetic that turns a quote into a total, and a checklist with a fill-in table to complete for every provider on your shortlist.

What do web development course fees in India range between?

Across four providers' own price pages, compared in October 2026, web development course fees in India run from ₹1,499 for a 60-hour online course to ₹95,000 plus GST for an 11-month programme. Length and what is bundled explain the spread better than any course label.

ProviderWhat it isLengthPublished fee (October 2026)Terms on its page
Full Stack Java, online; open to any diploma or degree holder60 hours₹1,499, certificate includedNone beyond eligibility
Web development, three plans2 to 3 months₹5,999, ₹8,999 or ₹14,999; IBM certificate ₹3,999 extra"We do not offer refunds"
Web Design with UI/UX, two tiers6 months₹48,500 or ₹58,5000% EMI offered
Web development, online and classroom11 months₹95,000 excluding GSTRefund requests within 15 days of start, tied to not having attended classes; EMI up to 12 months

Read the table as four price points, not bands. Our reading of these four providers, and not a market survey, is that the fee follows length and bundled certification: ₹1,499 for 60 hours with a certificate, ₹5,999 to ₹14,999 for 2 to 3 months, ₹48,500 to ₹58,500 for 6 months, and ₹95,000 plus GST for 11 months. Quotes from other providers can fall between these points, so collect several before you decide.

Why can the quoted web development course fee differ from the full price?

A quoted fee can differ from the full price because tax, certificates and instalment costs may be added on top, and providers treat them differently. Skillslash quotes ₹95,000 excluding GST. Corizo sells its IBM certificate separately at ₹3,999. SkillDzire includes the certificate in its ₹1,499.

Whether GST applies, and at what rate, depends on the provider and the course. Your invoice shows the rate actually charged. Our guide to Tally course fees with GST shows the same fee-plus-tax arithmetic for another computer course.

Definition

Our all-in cost model All-in cost = quoted fee + GST (only if the quote excludes it) + certificate, exam and registration fees + any EMI interest or processing fee.

Worked examples (our calculations, using 18% only as an example rate):

  • Skillslash: ₹95,000 + ₹17,100 example GST = ₹1,12,100. Over 11 months that is ₹10,191 a month (1,12,100 ÷ 11).
  • Corizo's top plan with the IBM certificate: ₹14,999 + ₹3,999 = ₹18,998, before any tax added at checkout.
  • Karmick: TechMaster is ₹48,500 with a Karmick Institute certificate. TechMaster Pro is ₹58,500 and adds advanced certification from Vishlesan I-Hub, IIT Patna. The extra ₹10,000 (about 21%, 10,000 ÷ 48,500) is the price of that added certification. Both run 6 months, about ₹8,083 and ₹9,750 a month.

How do you compare a ₹1,499 course with a ₹95,000 one?

Compare them on live teaching hours, what you finish with, and cost per month. Where hours are published, divide the all-in cost by them: SkillDzire's ₹1,499 over 60 hours is about ₹25 an hour. Where only months are given, divide by months.

Hands rest on a calculator beside a small stack and a tall stack of coins on a desk.
Dividing a fee by hours or months turns two very different prices into figures that can be compared.

Per month, the gap shrinks. Karmick's 6-month course is about ₹8,083 to ₹9,750 a month. Skillslash is ₹95,000 ÷ 11 = ₹8,636 a month before tax. Skillslash looks dearer mainly because it runs longer, though the scope of the two courses differs.

Recorded video and live classes with code review are different products, so ask for live hours and recorded hours separately. Check eligibility before price too. SkillDzire is open to diploma or degree holders, so it may not suit a school leaver.

Scope explains much of the remaining difference, so know which you are buying:

  • Web designing: page layout, HTML (the page structure language), CSS (the styling language) and design tools. Karmick's course lists Figma, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop alongside website design.
  • Front-end development: the above plus JavaScript and a framework such as React.
  • Full-stack development: front-end plus a server-side language, a database and deployment. SkillDzire's course is Java-based.

A sensible syllabus climbs in order: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git (version control), a framework, a back end, a database, then a project you deploy. If a "web designing" course skips JavaScript, it will not make you a developer. If it teaches ten frameworks in two months, it is selling breadth, not skill.

Does a higher web development course fee buy a job?

No. A higher fee pays for more teaching, certification and career support, not for an offer of employment. Karmick describes its placement assistance as resume building, mock interviews and connections to hiring partners. That is help with applying, not a job.

Ask for the last batch's outcomes in writing: how many enrolled, how many were placed, in which roles and at what salaries. An anonymous student quoted in a November 2024 Analytics India Magazine article about an unnamed bootcamp said the highest package was about ₹3 to 4 lakh a year against an advertised average near ₹10 lakh. The student added that many offers were internships paying ₹10,000 to ₹15,000. It is one account, not a measure of the market, but it shows why the figures matter.

Refund terms vary sharply. Corizo states it does not offer refunds. Skillslash accepts refund requests within 15 days of the start, and its page ties this to not having attended classes (October 2026). Settle the refund window before you negotiate the fee, and use our guide to getting coaching refund terms in writing to word the request.

If you only want HTML, CSS and JavaScript basics, free tutorials exist. Our view is that a paid course earns its fee when it gives you deadlines, feedback on your code and a finished project.

What should you check in writing before paying for a web development course?

Check seven things in writing before paying for a web development course, each with a clear pass or fail. Then complete the fill-in table for every provider on your shortlist.

A young woman reads a printed agreement at a table with a pen in her hand.
Reading the terms line by line before paying is how hidden extras and unclear promises get caught.

Is GST included in the quoted web development course fee?

Pass: the quote says "inclusive of GST", or shows the tax amount and the total. Fail: "plus GST" with no total.

Which extra fees come on top?

Pass: certificate, exam, registration and software fees are listed with amounts. Fail: "certificate on request".

How many hours are live and how many are recorded?

Pass: live and recorded hours are stated separately. Fail: "30+ hours", or months only.

What does the refund policy say?

Pass: a dated window and its conditions are on paper, such as 15 days from start with the attendance condition spelled out. Fail: a verbal promise, or no refund and no trial class.

Is the EMI plan really interest-free?

Pass: the lender is named, the total repayable equals the fee, and any processing fee is stated. Fail: "no cost" while the total exceeds the cash price.

What exactly does placement assistance include?

Pass: the last batch's numbers placed, roles and salaries are in writing. Fail: "100% assistance" with no outcomes.

Do eligibility and past projects check out?

Pass: written eligibility matches your qualification, and you can open two past students' live projects. Fail: you find out eligibility at enrolment, or see only screenshots.

Does the city change what a web designing course costs?

The four providers priced here do not show a city effect. They differ in length (6 versus 11 months) and scope, and we have no multi-city price data. That is our reading, not a market survey. For your city, collect written quotes for the same scope from at least three providers.

Two points of reference: Skillslash's Delhi programme is ₹95,000 plus GST for 11 months, and Karmick's Kolkata course is ₹48,500 to ₹58,500 for 6 months (October 2026).

Frequently asked questions

As of October 2026, four providers' own pages show fees from ₹1,499 for a 60-hour online course to ₹95,000 plus GST for an 11-month programme. Choose by length, certification and support, then add any tax and extras.
Not reliably. Karmick's 6-month Web Design with UI/UX costs ₹48,500 to ₹58,500, while Corizo's web development plans cost ₹5,999 to ₹14,999 (October 2026). Length and support drive the fee more than the course title.
Skillslash's Delhi web development programme is ₹95,000 plus GST for 11 months (October 2026). The invoice shows the GST amount. Ask other Delhi providers for written quotes covering the same scope and length before comparing.
Not necessarily. Karmick offers 0% EMI, and Skillslash says no interest is added over up to 12 months, subject to terms and conditions. Ask who the lender is, whether there is a processing fee, and what happens to unpaid instalments if you leave.
Only if the promise is written and defined. Placement assistance means help such as resume building and mock interviews, not a job offer. Ask for the last batch's placed numbers, roles and salaries, and treat missing figures as a fail.
