CLAT Coaching in Delhi: Fees, Areas and a Pre-Pay Check

CLAT coaching in Delhi costs whatever the institute quotes plus tax, materials and travel, so compare the all-in total, the batch end date against the exam date, and refund terms before paying.

Updated 14 Oct 2026

A young woman at a desk compares three coaching brochures side by side with a notebook and cup of tea beside her.

Key takeaways

  • There is no single price for CLAT coaching in Delhi. Compare the total after tax, materials, separately sold mock tests and travel, and set the batch end date against the exam date in the Consortium of NLUs press release.
  • As of 14 October 2026, CLAT 2027 is under eight weeks away, which puts a new enrolment in the "under 3 months" row below. Our recommendation there is full-length mocks with analysis, not a from-scratch syllabus course.
  • On one provider's price page, priced online CLAT courses run from ₹21 (an introductory batch, excluding GST) to ₹1,25,000. The same provider's Delhi page lists offline CLAT coaching from ₹1 lakh onwards.
  • Get the total fee, end date and refund terms in writing. Treat a "success rate" without exam year, number selected and number enrolled as unchecked.

A CLAT course advertised at ₹1,10,000 costs ₹1,26,920 once tax is added, going by the price Career Launcher shows on its own page for CLAT 2028 online classes as of October 2026. The quoted fee and the full price are different numbers, and in Delhi travel and study material sit on top of both.

CLAT is the Common Law Admission Test, the entrance exam for most of India's National Law Universities (NLUs), conducted by the Consortium of NLUs. As of 14 October 2026, CLAT 2027 is on Sunday 6 December 2026 and applications close on 31 October 2026, according to the Consortium's press release of 22 July 2026. Anyone enrolling now has under eight weeks, which changes what is worth buying.

Below you get a table that matches course length to the months you have left, a full-cost formula, the Delhi centres and fees institutes publish, six pass-or-fail checks, and a message to send before you pay. Where a number is our own working, the sum is shown so you can redo it.

How much does CLAT coaching in Delhi really cost?

The real cost of CLAT coaching in Delhi is the quoted fee plus tax, study material, any mock-test series sold separately, and the monthly cost of reaching or living near the centre. Compare that total, never the headline fee.

Our model for the all-in figure (not an official figure):

All-in cost = quoted fee + goods and services tax (GST) if not already included + printed material + separate mock-test series + (monthly travel or rent × months attended)

Career Launcher's page shows how far the headline can sit from the total. It lists a base fee of ₹1,25,000, a discounted fee of ₹1,10,000, GST of ₹16,920 and a final fee of ₹1,26,920. In our working, ₹16,920 ÷ ₹1,10,000 is about 15%, so the tax added roughly a seventh to the discounted fee.

Published online prices show how wide the spread can be for one provider. They are not a stand-in for a Delhi classroom quote, which carries rent and a different batch size. As of October 2026, Law Prep Tutorial's online CLAT page lists:

CourseModeLengthHoursPriceOur price per hour
CLAT Breakthrough BatchOnline180 daysNot shown₹21 (₹999 struck through), excl. GSTIntroductory price
CLAT FlixRecorded365 days700+₹24,999about ₹36
CLAT Flix+Recorded and live365 days700+₹34,999about ₹50
CLAT Crash Course (Booster Batch)Online4 months280+₹45,000about ₹161
CLAT Foundation BatchOnlineNot shown1,100+₹1,25,000about ₹114

The page also lists eight further CLAT courses with no price shown. Our price per hour is the price divided by the stated minimum hours (for example ₹45,000 ÷ 280), so each figure is a ceiling. The shortest, live-heavy crash course costs the most per hour, and the cheapest recorded course costs the least. Ask what the extra money pays for: a smaller batch, live doubt-solving, mentoring, or only a brand.

Be careful with low entry figures. Physics Wallah (PW) shows a ₹999 registration fee on its Delhi CLAT page for its CLAT 2026 Freshers batch, which is a past cycle. A registration fee is the cost of registering, not the cost of the course, so ask for the full course fee.

For a wider view of prices across India, see our guide to CLAT coaching fees. For classroom batches, our online vs offline coaching cost calculator adds travel and stay to the tuition quote.

Where are CLAT coaching centres in Delhi, and what do they publish?

Institutes' own pages place CLAT centres in Mukherjee Nagar and GTB Nagar, Hauz Khas, Laxmi Nagar, Rohini, Pitampura and across central and west Delhi. Noida is a separate city in Uttar Pradesh, not part of Delhi.

As of October 2026, the centres each institute lists on its own page are:

Students with backpacks walk along a narrow Delhi lane of tall buildings with a metro line in the distance.
Centres cluster in a few student neighbourhoods, so the daily trip to class is part of what you pay.
InstituteDelhi centres listed
Hauz Khas; Mukherjee Nagar (GTB Nagar metro gate)
Kingsway Camp near GTB Nagar metro; B-16 Main Road, Mukherjee Nagar
Kalu Sarai, Hauz Khas (batches of up to 35 students)
Laxmi Nagar, Rohini, Pitampura
Connaught Place, Netaji Subhash Place, Dwarka, South Extension, North Campus, Rajouri Garden, CP Kanchenjunga, Preet Vihar

Read the address, not the page title. Knowledge Nation Law Centre's "Mukherjee Nagar" page lists its centre at Kalu Sarai, Hauz Khas, and says Mukherjee Nagar students can reach it by metro.

On fees, Law Prep Tutorial's Delhi page says online CLAT coaching starts from ₹25,000 and goes up to ₹1.5 lakh, and offline coaching starts from ₹1 lakh onwards. Career Launcher's online CLAT 2028 course carries a final fee of ₹1,26,920 including GST. For the other centres above, ask for the fee in writing and use the formula earlier on this page.

Which CLAT coaching course should you buy, by months left before the exam?

Match the course to the months between enrolment and the exam. A 365-day course needs at least nine months. With three to nine months, choose a crash or revision batch of about four months or less plus a mock series. With under three months, buy full-length mocks with analysis. These thresholds are our recommendation.

Months to the examBuyAvoid
12 or moreFoundation course or multi-year planPaying a multi-year fee upfront without written exit terms
9 to 12One-year (365-day) courseA course that ends after the exam
3 to 9Crash or revision batch of about four months or less, plus a mock seriesA course that finishes less than four weeks before the exam
Under 3Full-length mocks, sectional practice and analysisStarting a from-scratch syllabus course

As of 14 October 2026, CLAT 2027 is 53 days away (14 October to 6 December 2026), so a new enrolment for that exam falls in the last row. A student planning for CLAT 2028 has the first two rows to choose from. Read the exam date in the Consortium of NLUs press release, not in an institute's brochure, then ask for the batch end date in writing. Our rule is that the batch should end at least a month before the exam, so the last weeks go to timed mocks and revision.

Can you trust "best CLAT coaching in Delhi" rankings and success rates?

Not on their own. A rank or success rate means little without the exam year, the number selected and the number enrolled, and a list written by an institute that appears on it cannot be neutral.

India's consumer regulator, the Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA), issued its Guidelines for Prevention of Misleading Advertisement in Coaching Sector on 13 November 2024. They bar false claims about courses, duration, faculty credentials, fee, exit and refund policy, number of selections, rank and success rate.

A claim such as "No. 1 in Delhi" gives you nothing to test. A claim that names the exam, the year, the number selected and the batch size does. Ask for the second kind.

What should you check before paying a Delhi CLAT institute?

Run six checks and pay only if every one passes. Each has a pass and a fail you can test with one message or one visit.

What is the total I pay, including tax? Pass: one written figure covering tax, study material and mock tests. Fail: only a registration fee, a "starting from" price or a figure that leaves tax out.

Does the batch end before the exam? Pass: a written end date at least a month before the exam date in the Consortium press release. Fail: the batch runs into the exam month or has no stated end date. Course validity dates are not batch end dates, so ask for both.

What happens if I leave midway? Pass: the refund window and deduction are in writing. Fail: "no refund" or no answer. The Ministry of Education's guidelines for regulation of coaching centres were circulated to States and Union Territories on 16 January 2024. They provide for a pro-rata refund (in proportion to the unused period) within 10 days when a student leaves mid-course, and for a website showing fees, exit and refund policy. Whether they bind a given Delhi centre depends on how Delhi applies them, so treat them as your baseline. Our guide to getting coaching refund terms in writing shows what to ask.

Who teaches, and how big is the batch? Pass: named faculty and a written batch size. Fail: "expert faculty" with no names.

Can the result claim be checked? Pass: exam, year, number selected and number enrolled are all stated. Fail: a bare percentage or a rank claim.

Does the centre exist where it says, and can I sit a trial class? Pass: you visited the address or attended a demo class. Fail: the address turns out to be a head office or a different area from the one advertised. A centre you can reach in under 45 minutes each way is one you will still attend in the final weeks. That is our judgement.

A parent and a student at an institute reception desk receive a printed sheet from a staff member before paying.
Ask for the figures and dates on paper before any money changes hands.

Which message gets these answers in writing?

Send one message to every institute you consider, so you compare like with like:

Hello, I am looking at the [course name] CLAT batch at your [area] centre. Please send me in writing: (1) the total fee including GST, study material and mock tests; (2) the batch start and end dates; (3) faculty names and batch size; (4) refund and exit terms, including the deduction and the number of days; (5) the centre address and whether I can attend a trial class. I will decide once I have all of it.

An institute that answers in full within a day or two is easier to trust than one that says "come to the office". Hold back payment until the reply is in writing.

How does Online Coaching 4u help you compare CLAT coaching institutes in Delhi?

We are a directory for comparing coaching institutes before you enquire. We publish this page. We do not teach, run classes or take course payments, and we do not run any institute named here.

On our coaching directory you can browse by exam, including CLAT, by city, by study mode (classroom, online or hybrid) and by verification status, with several ways to order the results. A profile can show courses, location, establishment year, ratings, reviews and a separate Google rating.

A Verified badge means the institute shared its details with us and we checked that it exists against trusted online sources. It confirms details; it does not promise results. Promoted institutes are labelled as promoted. Students pay us nothing to browse, compare, send an enquiry or write a review.

When you enquire, use the message above. Fees, batches, faculty and refund terms are agreed directly with the institute, so get them in writing before you pay.

Frequently asked questions

The best one is the institute whose batch ends before your exam, whose total fits your budget and whose refund terms are written down. No list can settle that for your batch. Shortlist two or three and run the six checks.
Reasonable means the lowest all-in total that passes the six checks. Law Prep Tutorial's Delhi page lists offline CLAT coaching from ₹1 lakh and online from ₹25,000 as of October 2026. For most other centres, ask for a written quote.
Online saves travel and rent; classroom gives a fixed schedule and in-person doubt-solving. If the centre is more than about 45 minutes away each way, or you study well alone, online is often the better fit. That is our judgement.
Pick the area you can reach most easily and regularly. Mukherjee Nagar and GTB Nagar are in north Delhi, Laxmi Nagar in east Delhi and Hauz Khas in south Delhi. Noida is in Uttar Pradesh, so test the commute before choosing a centre there.
No. On our site, Verified means the institute shared its details and we confirmed that it exists on trusted online sources. It does not guarantee teaching quality or results. Check batch size, faculty and refund terms yourself.
